We combine fresh ingredients with Indian spices to produce authentic and delicious dishes. Tandoori cuisine in particular requires very specialist training and, as our kitchen is open, discerning diners are able to watch their meals being skillfully prepared by our expert team. The creation of Tandoori naan is a visual pleasure all in itself.

Award-winning Indian Curry Restaurant
Bokhara means 'warm oven' and was the dream restaurant of proprietor Vijay Bhagotra. It is a salute to his love of the food 'back home'. Many of the dishes are taken from the north west frontier of India and our chefs have been carefully selected and brought over to bring you a real taste of this incredible cuisine.
The Bokhara Indian Brasserie opened in 2001 and has since been named one of the Top 10 Indian restaurants in the UK. It is consistently voted one of South Wales’ favourite Indian restaurants – something proven everyday by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we receive. On top of this we were crowned as the winner of the Best Curry Restaurant in Wales at the British Curry Awards in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013!
We have also been honoured in the South Wales Echo Food and Drink Awards 2014 as the Best Value for Money Indian Restaurant in the region.
